Chicago Rope Collective (CRC) is a rope-focused rental venue based in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. We offer rope education, social events, membership, and rental opportunities. Volunteer-run since 2026.
Our goal is to provide a space that can be utilized by rope and other special interest groups to broaden their outreach.

Who Runs CRC?
Chicago Rope Collective is operated and managed by CreepyJane, Ropeygoat, and suffermeat as volunteers. They handle the logistics, finances, and day-to-day coordination for managing the studio space and events. Learn more about them here.
Outside of the operating team, CRC is also run by you. Our intention is to make CRC a space where individuals and special interest groups can host classes, events, and gatherings.
CRC is located on the second floor of a mixed use building in Logan Square, Chicago, just a short walk from the Western Blue Line station.
The studio is about 1,000sf and equipped with (12) permanent bamboo hardpoints. The space can be expanded to accommodate (15) hardpoints at full capacity.
CRC can be accessed from the ground level either by stairs or a freight elevator. The studio is climate controlled. If you have specific questions, please contact us!

Where does the money go?
CRC is founded as a volunteer run organization and does not operate for profit. CRC does not take any money from the income generated. All revenue goes towards the rent, utilities, paying educators and organizers, and general operating costs for the studio. Any income in excess of that goes towards scholarships, mutual aid, discounts, and studio improvements.
