Hurt Me So Good: Sadistic Ties for Willing Bodies is an introductory rope class designed for people who want to explore rope as a tool for pain, pressure, and connection - without getting lost in complicated structures.
In this class, we will focus on fast, efficient ties that can be applied quickly and adjusted easily, making them ideal for short scenes, playful encounters, and moments where energy and attention matter more than elaborate harnesses or structures. We will explore how rope can be used to create pain through placement, tension, leverage, stillness and movement, and how small choices can dramatically change sensation.
We will begin with essential rope safety and consent framing, then move into demonstrations and guided practice of simple techniques that build pressure and enhance discomfort while remaining approachable and repeatable. Along the way, we will explore how to transition from “tying” into “playing,” using pauses, breath, and attention to turn rope into a scene rather than a task.
The final portion of class will be dedicated to open play and practice, offering participants space to integrate what they have learned, experiment, and ask questions with instructor support as needed.
This class is beginner-friendly and welcoming to curious newcomers, with plenty of room for early intermediate folks to refine efficiency and intention. No experience required.

All participants:
-Basic understanding of consent, negotiation, and the general risks involved in rope bondage
What to Bring
Bring 2-6 hanks of natural fiber rope or posh. Rope will also be available to borrow or purchase — please let the instructors know in advance if you need rope.

Sliding scale:
$15–50 per person
$40-130 per tying pair

Tom, TheOtherMonster, (they/he) is an avid nerd, kink/sex educator and, in scene, a bratty top. Jesse, Ropeygoat (they/them/fae/themme/faer) is a community organizer, academic, educator, switch, and above all else, a brat in all settings. Jesse and Tom entered the scene in 2018 and have been growing together and antagonizing each other ever since. They center fun, play and connection in all their kink activities. When not at the dungeon, you can find Tom and Jesse enjoying video/board games, D&D, climbing, riding bikes or looking at cute animal videos.
