Continuing on with CRC's Under The Sea theme, let's learn the basics of attaching bamboo and more safely suspending this crucifixion chest harness. We will use this chest harness in a mermaid tie, while also refining our technique for tying the lower body harness. Body bamboo will be provided.
Class Prerequisites:
All participants: Basic understanding of consent and negotiation practices, plus awareness of potential risks in rope bondage.
Tops: Proficiency with single columns and lock offs. Basic familiarity of a mermaid lower body harness.
Bottoms: A basic understanding of their body in rope. Knowledge of nerve risks in rope. Ability to communicate and monitor load and pressure throughout the arms in an unfamiliar harness
Students should bring:
6-10 lengths of jute/hemp/posh rope
2 fresh jute/hemp/posh uplines
Safety shears
Optional: carabiners & sling
Cost
$10-30 per audit ticket
$30-120 per typing pair, which includes one hard point.

A True Switch™, Syd has both bottoming and topping rope since 2022 and continues to devote time to both sides of partnered tying. They began teaching in 2024 and specialize in beginner/intermediate education in TK partial suspension.
Syd believes in tying to create feeling and tailoring that feeling to the person in front of you, all while maintaining a strong technical foundation.
Outside of rope, Sydney enjoys live music, playing with their cats, or spending time in the garage working on their beloved, piece of sh*t Jeep.
